I am a licensed naturopathic physician with a passion for personalized care and evidence-based medicine. My focus is beyond treating symptoms; ensuring all concerns are addressed through comprehensive medical history, physical exams and appropriate diagnostic testing. My goal is to empower you to feel your best and make informed decisions. Each treatment plan is tailored based on your health goals, whether it’s to treat existing conditions or prevent future ones.

I address all health concerns as a primary health care provider, and have a keen interest in the following: • Hormones (thyroid conditions, blood sugar imbalances, hormone imbalances, cortisol imbalances and perimenopause) • Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, and acne) • Autoimmune conditions (multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and IBD). • Cosmetic Botox/Xeomin for anti-aging, prevention of wrinkles (Please note, Botox/Xeomin services can not be invoiced under “Naturopathic Services” for extended health benefits as it is aesthetics)

I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University in 2014, majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I continued directly into naturopathic medical school to earn my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in 2018. I am an active member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia (CNPBC), and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

In 2014 I enrolled in the RMT program at Vancouver Career College (VCC) and graduated in 2017. I am passionate about athletics and especially enjoy long distance running. To date I have completed two full marathons and understand the difficulties of going through one’s daily routine with discomfort associated with motion.

For my clients I have two main treatment goals. The first is to provide relief from the cause of the discomfort and the second is to help the client understand the problem. This client centered treatment approach means that I will partner with you to find the treatment plan that works for you, and a homecare plan that will fit into your busy lifestyle.

In future I would like to continue studying the science of pain to better understand the interactions of the body and mind.

I have always lived on the West Coast and I couldn’t think of a better place to live. In my spare time I enjoy spending time at the ocean, cooking, being with friends and family, and of course travel.

Biography: I am passionate about encouraging optimal health for the entire family. As a busy naturopathic physician and mother of three active children, and I understand how much we all want to have a healthy, happy family. I want to make sure that you have all the tools you need so you can achieve those health goals. I focus on prevention and the cause of illness, not simply treating symptom. I genuinely care about my patients’ well-being, and I strive to research the most effective and safest treatment. My holistic approach involves: spending time with my patients and really listening to them. Together we can create a unique individualized treatment plan. Your protocol may involve: using herbs or botanical remedies, nutrition, acupuncture, and lifestyle counselling.

I am a proud local – I was born and raised in Vancouver, graduated high school from North Burnaby Secondary, and obtained a bachelors degree in Psychology from UBC. Coming from German parents, naturopathic remedies were common in my household; as was gardening, and canning our own vegetables and fruits – everything was made from scratch. I guess it’s no surprise that I was drawn to the naturopathic profession, given the natural living philosophy that had been ingrained in me since childhood.

I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002 and opened up a private practice that same year. I am a member in good standing with the British Columbia Naturopathic Assoc, Canadian College of Naturopathic Doctors, and the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. My incredible patients voted, and gave me the title of ‘Favourite Naturopath’ in both the Georgia Straight and Burnaby Newsleader for the past three years! I also serve as a board member as a natural health reviewer for research ethics committees at UBC/VGH, St Paul’s Hospital, and the Cancer Agency. I regularly attend conferences in order to stay current with evidenced-based naturopathic research.

Outside the clinic, I have a rich family life and that is immersed in alternative healthy living- with my husband, Dr. Jordan Myers, who is a chiropractor, and being a mother of three young children – life is busy and full of joy! You will find us active with our children: gardening, cycling, playing tennis or shopping at farmer’s markets. We love teaching our children about the importance of natural living from knowing where food actually comes from, eating organic, being aware of our environmental footprints, getting adjusted, and staying active.

I happily welcome new patients into my practice. Schedule an appointment so we can begin working towards optimal health for you and your family.

Gina strongly believes our bodies are amazing things. She is capable of incredible feats in order to heal and function although at times it can need some assistance along the way in that healing process. Gina’s passion is being a part of that process, to bring about healing in as a holistic way as possible. The excitement of seeing the differences that are made after a massage treatment is what inspires her every day and makes her love what she does even more.

In treatment, Gina is passionate about helping restore balance and function by concentrating on everything from soft tissue or muscle problems to joint dysfunctions. Her approach is that of holistic balance, to believe that everything is connected. When one part or piece is out of balance then things are brought out of balance everywhere as well. An important step in this process for Gina is the energy or intent brought into the treatment.

Along with the treatment, Gina will send you with home care activities that can be worked into a busy daily schedule and be a good stepping stone on the road to healing that we have begun.

Graduated from a 2,700 hour RMT program at Vancouver Career College in 2016. In order to be licensed she had taken the most in-depth and extensive examination process in North America. Towards the end of her program she had conducted a case study in which she worked with a patient with early symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis, to help maintain mobility and restore some of the lost fine motor movements in wrists and hands. Her goals were to maintain function and postpone the signature deformities that occur with Rheumatoid Arthritis for as long as possible. In this time she has gained even a greater appreciation for the human body and its resilience.
